Little Bunting

This morning the official birdwatcher was alerted to the fact that there was a Little Bunting at Broadsands. This is a rare bird indeed, blown in perhaps by the recent easterly winds. Jacqui says that she doesn’t do twitching, or bird chasing, but she was out of the door in no time. It was a fine morning anyway, and the Cafe Venus there is one of our favourites. Luckily it showed straightaway. The bird was with other birds at the place where seed is left for the Cirl Buntings. Quite exciting really. The OB was the only female at that time, second from the right.
