Cabbage white butterfly

I can tell it's autumn. The insect and spider populations in the garden have dropped right off. I was lucky to find this butterfly sitting still for long enough to photograph. Other than that I found one small spider and saw a few very busy wasps. It's still very hot, having reached 31C today.
