Floating…….

My one and only “Naked Lady” lily. Aka Amaryllis Belladonna. It is floating in the image because I photographed it in “Portrait” mode which blurs the background.
The day started with low cloud. It looked like rain but didn’t. Then the clouds slowly cleared to sunshine. Not too hot either. I managed a couple of hours of gardening. My lawns are sort of dead, the only green patches being dandelions-like weeds and small areas that have benefitted from the irrigation spraying beyond the garden beds. Then it was off to lunch at friend Dawn’s villa. The time always flies there . We laugh a lot. And put the world to rights. Supermarket shopping later and then home. The day flies by.
