Day trip to Hanmer springs.

After lunch and a wander around the township we went to the forest walk. The at trail was recommended because of the carved animals and gentle terrain. It did not disappoint. 
In the way home we were held up by two traffic accidents,  one of them serious and requiring us to detour via some back roads in order to pass. The accident site looked dreadful. The news websites are reporting there were serious injuries.
