Stand Off

I watched for a full ten minutes as this gull struggled to extract the bag of (perceived) tasty morsels from the litter bin. The bin had a wet, slippery top due to a recent shower, it is also angled. The angle was just enough to give the gull a very real problem (see here) with this particular mission. The appearance of human was much less of a problem to this intrepid bird
