A struggle for survival

I’ve been keeping a daily watch over the magnolia tree at the bottom of our garden, unsure if it will survive the ups and downs of the Scottish weather as we wind our way towards Spring. This is a poor shot, by blip for today. Nevertheless, it shows that this particular bud is getting ready to expose its flower more fully to the elements. Fingers crossed
