A slightly disturbed night as Phin chose to leap on my bunk several times through the night. I slept in the bed Mr PHL usually uses and ge bade up the bed at the front if the caravan. It was a little bumpy so we may need to get a mattress topper if we’re going to use it again.

We headed to the Beefeater for breakfast before packing up and driving the short distance to the dealership just outside Catterick. The handover didn’t take too long and the technician is confident they will be able to either fix the bed frame completely or at least make it useable before next weekend.

There seemed to be an issue on the A1 so we diverted via various smaller roads before finally joining the A68. We stopped in Jedburgh and had a wee walk about the town before stopping at the Bridge cafe (which is dog friendly) for very tasty soup and a sandwich. We’re planning to stop there on the way back to collect the caravan as they sell bread in the second half of the week and I really need more of the tumeric and nigella seed sourdough we do enjoyed today.

Phin and I had a nice leg stretching walk on the railway path before I made a rather tasty tomato and veg sauce to go with spaghetti and meatballs.

Another interesting talk at the Rotary meeting this evening. Riverfly surveying. Mr PHL is inspired to volunteer!

Looking forward to viewing the TinyTuesday entries.
