High Spring Tide

After dropping Sophie at school we went for a walk at Burnham where this derelict boat seemed to be defying the laws of physics by keeping afloat in the highest tide we’ve ever seen on the river here. 

Normally, it sits marooned on the top of the river bank and, by the time we walked past it on our way back less than two hours later, the tide had gone out and normality had resumed. The extra shows just how high the tide had been.
