The weather forecast seemed to have been lying again - not much of the rumoured sunshine, and it seemed to turn cold again in the evening.

The day was considerably enlivened by a visit from the plumber, who removed the flabby old innards of our toilet cistern and replaced them with newer kit. Push button instead of handle, with a little button for a wee flush. Given the low water pressure, it seems to work remarkably well. Amy hates having her photo taken, so I settled for this blurry shot.

Dave met the mouse on the landing during the evening. We have re-positioned the trap yet again.....
