Red sky at night

I live at the bottom of a steep hill and can't see much of what's happening at the top of the street, but my neighbour who built a garage and then put  a terrace on the top can.  Knowing that I do Blipfoto, he phoned around 6.30 to invite me over to take a shot of the evening sky from the terrace.  

I'm so pleased he did as the only other shot I had was the extra - which shows that my flowering Daffodils didn't last long as they have been blown over by the very strong wind that we had yesterday.  I think I'll cut them and at least have the pleasure of seeing them in a vase.  
Perhaps it will be warm enough for me to begin clearing up the debris gathered during the Winter .
