This beautiful species is the only Mountain Parrot in the world. This rascal came to us at Death’s door. He was extremely sick with lead poisoning. We have treated him for nearly 6 weeks. In that time he has slowly become a real character - all of us falling totally in love with his antics. He is young, and now as fit as as a flea. He was released yesterday in Franz Josef. We wish him a long and happy life, and no nibbling on lead( from roofs and old pipes).
