Kentish Fillbasket

A large, mild flavoured cooking apple.  The tree has a very heavy crop and some of the apples will be mixed with pears and juiced.
Our area has now officially been declared a drought zone.  Last night's drizzle barely registered in the rain gauge (0.5mm) and didn't dampen the dust on the road.
