The Lozarithm Lens

Diary Blip (Thursday 14th March 2024)

It has been a busy week but I haven't managed to get further than the town centre. However work has progressed on the new suspended floor in the outbuilding. A plastic membrane over the levelled concrete floor has gone in, the fibreglass insulation has been added, which should make the floor much warmer underfoot, and tomorrow the rest of the decking should be in place.

After that it will be up to me to do some staining around the edges of the decking and then adding a rug or carpet off-cuts, yet to be chosen, and then re-install my surround sound system and smart TV, and be back in business.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Julia Holter - Evening Mood (2024)
My pick from Elizabeth Alker's Unclassified show on Radio 3, heard as I drifted into sleep. The single is previewed from her forthcoming album Something In The Room She Moves (a James Taylor reference?).
