First Butterfly

Initially spotted flying high about the formal garden in the local park and seen again when returning home.

Reported this Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly to the County Recorder who told me that 7 different species of Butterfly over 50 individuals had been seen flying already this year - around double the number from last year at this time.

Very cheering to see this one in flight
