Riccarton bush

While the weather was behaving this morning we took the visitors to see Victoria Park and the look out near the Sign of the Takahe them traveled across town to walk through Riccarton bush. The rain started just as we were finishing our walk. The Dean's cottage which was built by one of our first settlers never ceases to amaze. The living conditions would not suit today's generation. 
We had a quiet afternoon at home chatting and playing cards. The ladies had another two wins making the score five to one.
