Frans Hals exhibition

My brother and I visited the Frans Hals-exhibition (a Dutch painter from the 17th century), where a selection of around 50 paintings are shown. They've been brought together from all over the world.

The picture is a collage of paintings by Frans Hals. I really enjoyed this exhibition. I never realised he painted such a variety in subjects. From the rich to the poor.

Seen at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

After the exhibition we went to see Rembrandt's  Nachtwacht (Night Watch) and some other paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer.
