Palio Sarzana

Opening ceremony. It was good, nice drum beats and people dressed up, some even with swords and crossbows. After everyone presenting themselves (grouped into neighbourhoods), there was an archery contest, but that turned out to be a bit boring. It was all happening in the shadows of city hall and the presentation was not exciting...

In the middle of this pic you can see people with flags, two of them did a battle/dance, which was really cool to watch. I got a video of part of it :)
