We visited the Highland wildlife park, I'm not sure how I feel about keeping animals in captivity, but some of the talks about how the breeding programs are helping keep some species from becoming extinct helped. The enclosures certainly seemed larger and attempts made to make it more like each of the animals natural habitat. There are lots of opinions, some quite strong for and against about the wildcat breeding and release programme currently happening in the Cairngorms, but this wee fellow seemed oblivious.
