Root Bridge

Helped out today at another of the orienteering clubs Family Fun days. One of the checkpoints put out for the children to find was by this stream.  Look how the tree has put roots out to the other side to make a bridge . 
 Although that didn't stop some of the children paddling through the stream in their shoes.  Their father removed their wet shoes but the children ran off through squelchy mud in their bare feet.  Mum was not impressed.   But it was a "Fun Day" and the children thought it great fun.
