Rook

A rook not as keen sighted as our crows as I managed to take some shots inside the conservatory which no crow would ever consent to.

He or she is an adult over 2 years old as you can tell by the grey face. The juveniles look very similar to crows to the inexperienced eye however rooks are very social birds living in colonies and feeding in flocks.

Poppy now snoring in her basket is coping better with the dog walks. I'm going a bit further every day. Being white and low slung with little legs she wasn't built for muddy terrain and doesn't like it, also she hasn't physically been able to manage a walk really for a long time. If her tail wags all is well.
