Market day auction in progress.

Nice sunny morning so Swaffham market was quite busy with people out shopping . I alway like to see what’s going on at the auction ….lots of nodding and bidding.. The shepherd’s crook is used to identify the lot being auctioned ….most of the lots seem like rubbish to me .. but there are lots of blokes bidding ….still where there ‘s muck there’s brass as they say ????
