Salt Ayre, Lancaster.

The outdoor athletics season has started! The Lancaster Cup hosted by Lancaster University. I was officiating and worked in the field events measuring throws and jumps, completing paperwork and collecting implements. A very kind man helped with the hammers which had disappeared into the ground by about 0.5m. I’m not strong enough to pull them out. Everyone was very jolly and the students cheered each other on very enthusiastically. Main thing was we didn’t get wet :-).
