I've always liked this house, and have occasionally photographed some of its details; it's quite different in style from anything else in the village. I walked down Vicarage Lane to the bottom of the valley, in rather miserable rain and damp drizzle. I hadn't been down here for a while, but it was no surprise to find the fields beside the Nailbourne full of standing water, just as the ones a little further downstream have been for a while. I left home with a camera which lacked a battery, so was limited to phone photos, but it was not really an inspiring day for photography, with low light and too much wind for close-ups of the cherry blossom. It's definitely spring though, despite the weather, with magnolia and cherry blossom in gardens, celandines in the roadside verges, and daffodils everywhere.
