Road Artist ?

This is the man who paints the milestones.
He is doing it voluntarily on behalf of Todmorden Civic Trust and he is searching out all the local milestones and renovating them.
This is at Eastwood - halfway between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge - in fact 3 miles from Todmorden and 9 3/4 from Halifax :-)
To my mind a very worthwhile project :-)
