Nibbled

The sun came out! I went up to the allotment in celebration. Fed the blighters and sowed some short rows of seed - radish, mixed lettuce, carrot. Fingers crossed. The broad beans are mostly up and looking good. I can't remember who it is that nibbles the pale yellow petals off the primroses (leaving just the brighter yellow centres). I've read something about it in the distant past.....think it may be a little bird doing it, or perhaps a mouse?

Later we went out to find somewhere to watch the Ireland v Scotland rugby match - eventually found a corner to stand in at the back of the Brass Monkey (Carriers stowed, and Malones with a queue and big bouncers checking a list of names!). Malcolm joined us once he'd made his way back from Easter Rd, where Hibs had had a good result. The rugby result was disappointing, although I enjoyed watching the match.

Then we went round to Pizza Geeks for a....pizza. It was excellent.
