Edwardian Baroque ...

... on the gushet of Shamrock St (appropriate for St Patrick's Day I thought) and New City Rd in the Garnethill area of the city. This gushet building is more ornate than yesterday's having been built for the Glasgow Savings Bank in 1909. Plenty of carvings, stained and etched glass symbolising banking and commerce. The architect was Neil Campbell Duff who designed several bank buildings. B listed.
