.., and two shadows: mine and his.  We went to see 'Songbird' today at the Kennedy Center: a very light and enjoyable modern opera.  (extra is the stage).  It was a beautiful spring day and the Washington mall was full of tourist enjoying the day and the cherry blossoms.
