Orinoco

There are three Wombles on the island, which became the author Elisabeth Beresford’s home - one at the airport, one at the harbour and this one in a children’s playground near the cricket ground. They all had place names (Orinoco is a river in Venezuela) and one of the - rare - female Wombles is called Alderney.
