Yesterday was the MK festival of running and a friend was in town for the half marathon so Luna and I timed a 10k run to coincide with his expected finish. By a bad bit of planning, we ended up doing the race’s final, killer climb twice. Good to chat to R afther the finish. He had done a good time. But, crucially, we beat him by a second on the killer climb…

Managed to tock off a few longstanding jobs this weekend: the side of the bath, draught-proofing the bedroom windows and chopping out the rotten bottom of the front door frame.
Couldn’t have done this without the oscillating multitool. Great bit of kit.

We’ve all spent the weekend worry about Izzy who has some sort of urinary blockage. He’s had an operation but is still not right. A stressful time for poor M and L.
