Katydid on an aster

The bugs in the garden are definitely on the decline. Autumn. So off to Sydney Park I went to the community/educational garden where there were bugs galore. There were spiders, ladybirds, bees, an interesting beetle and a katydid. I've posted katydids before but on this flower (which I believe is an aster and if anyone knows better please tell) the colour combo greatly appealed. Apart from a tiny bit of cropping it's SOOC.

It's been a good day in other ways too. Margot and mum J came to visit and that was wonderful.

Thanks for hosting Pinkhairedlady.

PS I think there may be an issue with the site. I can't see anyone's photos. Hope I can catch you all up tomorrow.
