For Jazzdrummer

This is the Latchford Railway Viaduct which crosses the Manchester Ship Canal at Latchford near Warrington. It was built in 1893 as a diversion for the Stockport to Warrington line due to the construction of the canal. It went out of service in 1985 and is in a rickety condition but still looks magnificent; particularly as it crosses the canal at an acute angle. Hope you like the photo Jazz!
