Choppy waters

Today’s blip is as close as we got to the Faroe Islands.

With winds of 60 knots (70 mph) it became too dangerous to berth in Torshavn, so we have been having a day at sea as we continue to Iceland. The stormy conditions (classed as ‘violent storm’ have continued all day with people having to hold onto handrails with some feeling queasy, inc. us, so we took some seasickness pills, which made us really sleepy and dopey (some might say no change there then).

Anyway, it hasn’t put us off our food, so heading out to the restaurant now.
