Spikey little devil

The dogs and I found a “new” lake to walk around today, at Hendre in St Mellons. At the far end of the lake, there’s a lovely little war memorial to those whose lives were cut short in the Great War - see extra. It was constructed as part of the centennial remembrance. The hand carved granite centre-piece that depicts  a cut through tree reflects “the many lives that were cut short in their living, growing and hopeful youth”.
The main is my Tiny Tuesday entry. Many thanks to Pinkhaoiredlady for hosting.
