A SQUABBLE OF RINGBILLS

Ring-billed Gulls (Larus delawarensis); facing into the wind.  And yes, a "squabble" is the term for a bunch of gulls and, if you've been paying attention, they squabble all the time.

Had a Dr. appointment in the Big City early this morning....just my annual "wellness" exam.  Apparently, I'm going to live.  I stopped by the shore of Lake Michigan and made some gull shots.  Very early, kinda dark and overcast, very high ISO, extremely windy and all shot hand held at 900mm (600mm on 1.5x crop sensor yields 900mm effective).
