Magnificent Magnolia

Anna and I strolled around the village this afternoon and there were an amazing number of magnolia to enjoy.

I remember that this time last year I had 'clocked' this  lovely magnolia as a potential blip.  Then, we had a frost and rain the the whole thing was a sodden mess within a couple of days.

I'm recording for posterity, though frosts are not predicted, and the ducks are still in the garden....
