Amaryllis!

This is my oldest amaryllis, bought at a Christmas market in Manchester a long time ago.  It was a good sized bulb at the time and has flowered every year since.  I hope my others last as long and as well.

All the Clivia seeds are gone and I'm longing to escape the m****** long enough to get to the allotment again. Tomorrow I'm stuck in meetings most of the day, with more m****** on the side.

The extra is the remains of some of my mothering Sunday flowers.  There is something about dying tulips that always make me think of old oil paintings.
