Bluebird

I was excited to see the bluebirds again, only my second sighting. They were showing interest in a bird box in the prairie, so we may get a nesting pair.

Unfortunately they are prone to attack by swallows who also like the nesting boxes. The swallows aren't due to arrive until April, so the bluebirds have first dibs.

This image is a heavy crop and lacks detail, but at least there was good light today, even if blustery.
