Cape Reinga Lighthouse

Today we  traveled through KeriKeri due to a big detour because of Road Works, we went to The Parrot Place where you can feed the Parrots , they will climb all over you and sit on your shoulder. Beautiful Parrots, I fed a Big Macaw and held the biscuit just a little too close, it tried to eat the end of my finger. This part of the country is beautiful and lots of signs saying please don't litter and there is very little rubbish on the side of the road. We finally made it to the end of New Zealand, Cape Reinga where the West Cost and East Coast meet together. We arrived when most of the crowd had left with only a handful of folk walking around.
