Sesquipedalian Sea Squirtz

Noticed this unusual sculpture in a side street off Jetty Road, Glenelg.
The title is a reference to unusual sea creatures. There are apparently more than 200 species of sea squirts with SA holding the greatest diversity of species in the worlds. Sea Squirts vary widely in colour, form, pattern and social structure and are a powerful indicator of the health of the acoustic environment they inhabit.
Apparently Sesquipedalian is a generous, fun, colourful and responsive sculpture that invites people to touch and interact with it.
