The Last Kingdom

I'm back to making my way through the Last Kingdom series this week, what a great escape from reality these books are and it makes you feel so lucky to live in the XXIst century rather than the Xth. I'm on book 8 now with a few still to go.

If you watched Last Kingdom on Netflix, you know what the story is, but books are obviously much more in depth.

If you didn't watch it... well, what are you waiting for, it's only the best period drama I have ever seen.
