Great Tit

There is a lot coming in the garden just now, nice to see, but I saw this little Great Tit sitting for quite a while on the cherry tree, and thought it would make a good blip.  The day has been rather dull, but as the evening progresses it has got a bit brighter.  Could have done with some sun on his feathers, but you take what you can get, don't you.

The Chief Librarian at the Carnegie Library in Dunfermline was our speaker today.  She was most interesting.  This library was the first one that Carnegie gifted, Dunfermline being his birthplace, and it has had a chequered career ever since.  She was most enthusiastic and a good speaker, and told us a lot about Carnegie that I had not known.
