Redshank

There was a dreich start to the day as Mrs CBL and I went for messages in Peterhead.  However in the afternoon, as forecast, the sun came out and we took a walk down by the estuary.

I spotted this redshank digging about in the sand and seaweed and took its photo. That it is standing on its tiptoes makes it look very tall indeed.
