Roast

Look at me, a roast on a Wednesday! How crazy is that?

I've spent most of the day in meetings, but I only needed to participate in the first one - from there I was able to listen to the others (5 hours in total) while I did a bit of marking and pottering around in the kitchen. And I made a roast because that's just how I roll. Chicken roasted with tarragon & lemon juice, roasted potatoes, puddings from Yorkshire, courgettes dredged in seasoned flour, and gravy. It was very tasty - I ate earlier than I usually do because I'm very tired. I will probably be off to bed while all you youngsters are getting your second wind and jitterbugging through the night.
