The more I megabus/flix the less the train becomes a thing. For north of Edinburgh anyways. I've given up negotiatiating getting to/from Edinburgh by train, if there's ever any issues everything stops there and I've spend so much time stuck there trying to find new options. So now I just get the bus down, usually between £6-11 and guaranteed a seat.
