at the Getty Central Garden. Tulips, ranunculus, irises, proteas, poppies…The reddish stone that makes up the chadar wall in the azalea bowl is called cornelian stone. In the background you can see the columns and a section of the cube building which is cladded in travertine, a type of limestone that was brought in all the way from Italy. This is the building where the itinerant exhibits are presented.
A happy and sunny day giving tours.
