Cloudy but No Rain

A day of errands, mostly. I did purchase three bags of organic compost and put them into my big raised vegetable bed that the HOA installed last year. I planted arugula, lettuce, onions and peas. But the water spigot has yet to be turned on since it’s part of the irrigation system. So hoping for some good rain tonight, otherwise I’ll be bringing a couple of watering cans down there in my golf cart tomorrow!

The kale that overwintered in the raised bed is contemplating flowering!
