Warning: May Cause Drowsiness

The plot took a further highly unexpected twist today with Desmond asking to meet us at the Kirkwall airstrip.  We attended.  CMC 's cousin turned out to be a fellow traveler.  And indeed Linda Firth; last seen years ago at Aunty Jessie 's in Stromness.  Instead of flying to Aberdeen we departed for Sumburgh.  However due to 70mph cross winds, a landing couldn't be attempted.  We flew down to Dyce.  Once in the terminal Blanche called.  Even reversed.the charges from her mobile.  She was taken aback when l asked her whether l should buy a new outfit for the Summer.  We got on another flight, disembarked.  Hailed a taxi (a lifetime first for me).  Having not been on a motorway for years, I've been on three in half an hour.  My Careers teacher (1967) told me there would be days like this.  But not when.

Yesterday's iain@creel prize wasn't claimed so it will be rolled over until the 4th April.  As will the prize.
