Tendrils

Rhythmic undulations of the water surface urged on by gusts of wind distorted the reflections of a stand of reeds. Strong light from the setting sun rendered them colourful, like tiger strips, in high contrast. And the distorted lines, at times extreme, looked like tendrils of a trailing plant. A wonderful pattern shot.

Extra: Shared Moment. A pair of wood ducks have appeared to keep the mallards company.
