Good to be back

We haven't been to Aberaeron for about a month but as we don't have any commitments in Cardiff for the next few days, we travelled down here this morning. We went for a walk through the town and down to the sea front to check out progress on the new sea defences for the harbour. There is a large information board detailing the plans and showing a before and after of the defences. It looks impressive but at the moment it's a bit of a mess with much of the harbour closed off limiting access. It will be interesting to see how it affects local businesses who heavily rely on visitors during the Easter break. 
We had bright sunshine this afternoon and this blip is one of the groins on North Beach, part of the sea defences built about 15 years ago and funded by an EU grant. The current improvements are being funded by Welsh Government.
