Norway Maple

In a bid to make best use of another wet day I booked a trip to the tip. A day where excitement knew no bounds. We took an old microwave and long fluorescent tubes and a few other bits and pieces to make a load. Just to make it even more interesting we called in at Lidl and Tesco on the way back. Meanwhile, Susan and Barbara were with Doreen.

They have gone back to see her this evening.

In between times Barbara and David went shopping and we went for a walk. By the end of the walk the clouds had cleared and late evening sun lit up all the trees in Mote Park. Which is where we spotted this bright yellow blossom on this Norway Maple, one of the many specimen trees for which Mote Park is well known.
